The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot program is a community driven program that is designed by the government of Canada, so that economic benefits of immigration can spread to smaller communities, by making it possible for foreign workers who want to work and live in the communities that participate in this program. Candidates must meet the participating community’s specific requirements and the IRCC eligibility requirements. They must also find eligible jobs offered by designated employers in the participating community, get a job offer and community recommendation, then apply for permanent residency.
All the communities have their own eligibility requirements, process for job search and process for the community recommendation application.
