Super Visa
Super visa is a type of visa issued to parents and grandparents of permanent residents and Canadians. The super visa allows sponsored parents and grandparents to stay for up to 2 years at a time in Canada and it allows multiple entries for up to 10 years.
Eligibility Requirements for the Sponsor
- The sponsor must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen.
- The sponsor must have a level of income that meets the minimum necessary income.

Sponsor shall provide a signed invitation letter indicating:
•Number of household dependents of sponsor.
•Canadian sponsor’s permanent residency or proof of citizenship.
• Commitment to provide financial support to applicant all through visit. -
Medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company:
• Valid for at least 1 year from the date of entry.
• A coverage of at least $100,000.
• Proof that the medical insurance has been paid.
Eligibility Requirements for the Applicant
The applicant must also meet the following requirements:
- Be allowed to enter Canada, (that is be admissible).
- Take an Immigration medical exam
- Meet other conditions.
