Visitor Visa
Visitor visa is also referred to as Temporary Resident Visa, which is an authorization document that allows foreign nationals who meet the requirements to enter Canada. Most travellers need a visitor visa to travel to Canada and even to transit through Canada. Application for visitor visa can either be made on paper or online.
Most travellers to Canada can stay for up to 6 months per entry if the border services officer does not limit their stay at the port of entry. A visitor visa may be extended from within Canada after the initial 6 months stay and it is referred to as visitor record.
